Application information

Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines

First-year

All undergraduate students applying to Millsaps need high school transcripts before an admission decision can be received. If unofficial documents are submitted, students can be provisionally admitted pending full review of official documents once received. Self-reported information is not considered when making an admission decision.

Transcripts can be submitted several ways:

  1. Electronically through the Common App, Slate.org, SEND.edu, Parchment, Scoir or Scribbles Software.
  2. As a hardcopy via the postal mail from the school.
  3. Direct upload into the student application portal.
All students, foreign and domestic, are eligible and considered for merit-based aid. All domestic students are encouraged to file and submit their Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) for consideration of additional need-based scholarships.

There is no fee for the Millsaps application.

Transfer

Millsaps can help you build upon your past experiences through our unique campus atmosphere and curricular options, which include experiential learning throughout our curriculum. With past experiences at state, private and community colleges, your maturity and experience will play an important role in our community.

At Millsaps, we value the work you have already done. That’s why we offer guaranteed admission and scholarships to qualified students who apply to Millsaps! All admitted students will be considered for merit-based scholarships.

We offer scholarships specifically for transfer students, too!

Transfer Scholarship: Transfer Scholarships are merit-based and available ranging from $18,000 to $26,000.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Scholarships are also available for our transfer students. They are stackable and range from $5,000 - $7,000.
