Who attends NYSCAS? People like you.
Our students are culturally and ethnically diverse. Representing every age group and level of education, they include:- recent high school graduates,
- non-native English speaking,
- non-high school graduates studying to obtain both a high school equivalency diploma and a college degree
NYSCAS welcomes a sizeable number of transfer students into our undergraduate community.
To be accepted as a transfer student, make sure to include official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended. Official transcripts should be sent from the issuing school directly to the Office of Admissions.
Students must take at least 24 credits at Touro University for an Associate’s Degree; 45 credits for Bachelors; and a minimum of half the credits needed for major programs.
Students who have completed an associate's degree at an accredited institution are assured a minimum of 60 credits, where appropriate. Grades of “C” or better are accepted, but some courses require department approval.
