First-year applicants are those who will complete high school by the end of the current academic year. Students enrolled in concurrent high school and college courses are considered first-year candidates. Students who have elected to take time off from schooling between graduating from high school and enrolling in college are considered first-year candidates. Transfer applicants have completed a high school diploma (or an equivalent) and earned at least 12 semester hours of college credit after graduating high school. More information regarding our application process can be found here.
