First-year

First year students are students applying to NKU for the first time after high school graduation and have not attended any other institutions following high school. The application, application fee ($40), and official high school transcripts are all required to be reviewed for admission. Regarding test scores, NKU uses a Test Optional admission policy. You only need to supply test scores if you are applying for a Nursing program, have less than a 2.75 unweighted GPA, and/or for consideration for our premier Presidential Scholarship program.  For more information, please review our freshman admission requirements.
