Application information
Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines
Our admissions team is excited to support you in your college application process. First year students are first-time college applicants who are entering college after graduating from high school. Applicants who have taken college credit through programs such as Running Start, a partnership program with community colleges, and AP scores are considered first year students. A high school transcript is required for admission. Test scores like the SAT, ACT, or CLT scores are optional.
Transfer students are applicants who have attended college after graduating from high school. All official college transcripts are required. Official high school transcript or proof of high school completion may also be required depending on the amount of college credits you have earned. Transfer students apply directly at the NU website.

Additional Information
Northwest University's published cost — tuition, room and board, books, and supplies — is competitive with other private Christian universities in the region, and our average student pays significantly less. With generous merit and need-based aid, the average financial aid package brings the total down to around $22,775 per year. 100% of students receive some form of financial aid, and our admissions counselors work with every family to build a package that makes NU achievable. Talk to your admissions counselor to see what's possible for you. >

For many Christian students who are serious about their commitment to follow Jesus and want an education that prepares them for a life that makes a difference in this world for God’s kingdom, a private Christian university should be considered the most prestigious and best.
