The application is available starting August 1. Students who apply by the Early Action Application Deadline on November 1 will be considered for our most competitive majors and receive an admissions decision on January 15. Students that meet this deadline will also automatically be considered for our full range of merit-based scholarships (U.S. Citizens & U.S. Permanent Residents only). Transferring to any College or University can be difficult, but we aim to make it easy! Before you can apply as a transfer student, you must have completed at least 12 semester credit hours of college-level coursework. Remedial college courses and advance/dual college credit (credit earned as part of high school coursework or test scores such as AP and IB) does not count toward this minimum. Depending on your major, there are different deadlines for each semester. For a complete list of resources and deadlines, please visit: purdue.ws/transfer
Are you ready to see if Purdue is the perfect fit for you? With several in-person and virtual visit opportunities available, explore how one small step can lead to your next giant leap at Purdue.
Daily Visits are one of the best ways to see campus! Held multiple times each weekday and most Saturdays, your visit starts with a walking tour of campus. Afterwards, join an Admissions Counselor for a presentation, where they walk you through the application process. Finally, explore residence halls and dining courts during the Student Life tour.
