Queens University of Charlotte

Queens University of Charlotte

When society needed to expand educational opportunities in the region, Queens rose to the occasion in 1857 and was one of the very first universities to educate women. When soldiers returned home after WWII and wanted to take classes, we opened our doors. As banking and healthcare grew in Charlotte – our McColl School of Business and Presbyterian School of Nursing answered the call.

When we need to reinvent ourselves after a world-changing pandemic…We are inspired by our motto, not to be served but to serve.
And we rise to the occasion.

First-year

You're about to graduate from high school or are currently completing a dual-enrollment program, and you're looking for a classic college experience on campus. We are excited to learn more about you, as we take a holistic approach to reviewing files; we want to know as much as we can, so please take your time on each section and fill them out thoroughly. We are a test optional university, so we do not require your SAT or ACT scores.

Transfer

You're transferring from another institution and still looking for a classic college experience on campus. In addition to the application and transcripts, both high school and college, we’ll need a signed Statement of Good Standing form, which we’ll provide to you after completing the application. We want to know as much as we can, so please take your time on each section and fill them out thoroughly.
