First-year
Our programs in art, design, and architecture emphasize process work, in-depth studio time, and critical thinking across disciplines. Apply for Early Decision (binding) by November 1 and Regular Decision by January 20th. Students who have not earned college credit yet or wish to begin their experience at RISD as a first-year should apply using these deadlines. See our website for complete application requirements.
