First-year
Our programs in art, design, and architecture emphasize process work, in-depth studio time, and critical thinking across disciplines. Apply for Early Decision (binding) by November 14, and Regular Decision by January 20th. Students who have not earned college credit yet or wish to begin their experience at RISD as a first-year should apply using these deadlines. See our website for complete application requirements.
