First-year
Our programs in art, design, and architecture emphasize process work, in-depth studio time, and critical thinking across disciplines. Apply for Early Decision (binding) by November 1st, and Regular Decision by January 16th. Students who have not earned college credit yet or wish to begin their experience at RISD as a first-year should apply using these deadlines.
