RWU is a comprehensive, private University located on the water in Rhode Island. With nearly 4,000 full-time undergraduates on our primarily residential, suburban campus in Bristol, we are small enough to make personal connections and large enough to see a new face every single day. 100% of our students graduate with more than one academic program, and 100% graduate with at least one engaged learning experience (internship, research, service, etc.). Programs range from Marine Biology to Architecture, and Engineering to the Arts.
Our standard rate tuition
for 2023-24 is $42,336 (this does not include room and board). However, the average tuition after RWU aid is $20,836. All applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships which typically range from $15,000 to $21,000 per year (we guarantee that aid for all four undergraduate years). Select students may qualify for our Intercultural Leadership Ambassador Scholarship (ILA), which is an award that covers 95% of tuition annually. Please note: Financial Aid packages will vary based on each individual situation.
No brochure can do justice to the RWU culture, people and beauty of our campus. You have to see and hear it for yourself. Our various visit options will allow you to do so!
