First-year

Towson University is test-optional for Fall 2022. A holistic review process is used to determine freshman admission. The primary factors in our evaluation are based on your high school courses, grades and supplemental materials submitted with the application. Submit your application with all required materials by TU’s December 1 Early Action deadline to be considered for merit-based Admissions scholarships or the Honors College. A $45 non-refundable application fee is required when you apply. See our Admission Requirements & Deadlines for more information.

Our mission is to ensure a seamless and well-informed transfer experience. TU's Transfer Student Center can help you plan your transfer, from how your credits will transfer to the best pathway to your bachelor’s degree.
