UB is also proud to offer a FIRST scholarship, available to participating members of FIRST programs, which promotes STEM education through robotics competitions. Students who are interested in applying for UB's FIRST scholarship should email admit@bridgeport.edu for more information on our application process.
It is free to apply to University of Bridgeport, and we are test optional! To apply as test optional, submit the following documents:
- free application through Common App or www.bridgeport.edu/apply
- high school transcript
- short essay on the topic of your choice

Transfer
UB automatically considers students for merit-based scholarships when they apply for admission.
It is free to apply to University of Bridgeport! Submit the following documents to be considered for admission:
- free application through Common App or www.bridgeport.edu/apply
- proof of high school graduation
- transcripts from each institution where you earned college credit. If you have taken at least 12 college credits that are 100 level or higher and earned a C or better in each course, you are considered a transfer student.
