A first-year student has either not yet graduated from high school or has graduated but not earned any college credits after completing high school. The University of Dayton has two deadlines for submitting your admission materials: Early action (non-binding): November 1 and Regular decision: February 1. You will automatically be considered for a merit scholarship — worth up to $121,000 over four years — when you apply for admission. We are committed to transparent affordability, and our innovative approach to tuition provides peace of mind when it comes to costs.
A transfer student has completed high school and has earned college credit after finishing high school. All full-time transfer students receive a $15,000 transfer scholarship and may be eligible for an Academic Excellence Award, based on combined cumulative college GPA.
