Students should apply as a first-year if they have not previously enrolled in college. This means they haven’t attended any institution for the first time at the undergraduate level following high school graduation, excluding summer enrollment.
Students should apply as a transfer if they are seeking entry to the University for the first time but have previously attended another college or university following high school graduation (excluding summer semester). For students applying with less than 25 credit hours, additional high school information may be requested for review.

Last year, 100% of incoming students received institutional scholarships and 91% of students received federal financial aid. Institutional aid is awarded based on academic and/or athletic achievements and scholarships are available through the University and external foundations and organizations.
