University of the Incarnate Word

University of the Incarnate Word

The University of the Incarnate Word not only provides a quality education, but gives students the tools they need to change the world. Central to UIW’s mission is the idea of service to others, whether it is the global community or just someone who lives next door. Likewise, UIW aims to foster a sense of community on campus, guided by its Mission and aided by the small student-to-faculty ratio, which means that professors can get to know you as a person. Also featuring a strong commitment to diversity, UIW is also No. 1 in the nation among Catholic universities graduating Hispanic students with bachelor’s degrees.

I’m proud to be the first in my family to attend college. I inspired my little brother to look at private universities and as soon as he met with some faculty at UIW he was able to call it his home like I call it mine.
