First-year

Ready to join the Cardinal Family? The application process has several advantages: no letters of recommendation, automatic scholarship consideration and a quick admission decision. The University of Louisville seeks to admit students who are college-ready. Students who don't meet automatic admission standards will be considered on a one-on-one basis. Our goal is to evaluate all factors, and accept students who will be successful at UofL.

Applicants for some programs will be able to apply without test scores. Students choosing this option will be prompted to submit additional materials. Learn more about our admission standards and test-optional requirements here. Applicants to the Speed School of Engineering, College of Business and School of Nursing are still required to submit test scores. Please submit a high school transcript and $25 fee. Students on free or reduced lunch do not pay the fee.

We look forward to reviewing your application. We will work hard to help make your dream of attending UofL a reality. If you have any questions about the application process or next steps, please contact your personal admissions counselor.

Transfer
