Students applying for undergraduate admission are required to submit a completed application, and an official secondary school transcript. Qualified students with equivalency certificates are also considered for admission.

We also highly recommend students submit the following:

  • Extracurricular involvement
  • Essay or personal statement
  • Letter of recommendation(s)

A list of complete application requirements can be found here.

Transfer

Transfer Students Welcome!
Transfer students are an important part of the UNE community. If you attended an institution of higher education for any period after graduating from a secondary school, please apply as a transfer student. We recommend that you submit your application as early as possible.

Students applying for transfer admission are required to complete an application, and provide official college transcripts for all previous college level academic experience. If the student has less than 60 college credits at the time of enrollment the application must also include their secondary school records. Current semester transcripts may be required, but you should not wait for the conclusion of the semester to apply.

Transfer students are eligible for both financial aid and merit-based scholarships.
