Find out about requirements, fees, and deadlines
A first-year student includes anyone who is currently in high school or anyone who has not taken college coursework after graduating from high school (or obtaining their GED/HSED). Note: If you have taken college coursework concurrently during high school, you are still considered a new first-year student. How to Apply>>
First-year students can apply online via the Common App or UW Application.
A transfer student includes any degree-seeking student who transfers credit from another institution of higher education, other than credits earned solely during summer session or while enrolled in high school. How to Apply>>
