You are considered a first-year student if you've never attended a college or university before, excluding concurrent enrollment. Items required for a completed first-year application: application, application fee or fee waiver (nonresidents only), official high school transcript, official ACT/SAT test scores (optional), and official GED Scores, if applicable.
You are considered a transfer student if you've attended any college or university after high school graduation. Items required for a completed transfer application: application, application fee or fee waiver (nonresidents only), and official college transcripts.
