You are considered a first-year student if you are a current high school senior planning to attend college after graduation, a high school graduate who has not enrolled at another college or university, or a GED holder with no prior college credit. Wayne State has a straightforward application process, and the $25 undergraduate application fee can be waived by using code WSU2027.
