Current high school students and high school graduates who have not enrolled in a post-secondary institution should apply as a first year applicant. If you are taking or have taken courses at a college or university while in high school, you are considered a first year applicant. First-year applicants for the fall semester are urged to begin the application process early in their senior year.
Transfer admittance is open to any student who has attended a post-secondary institution after high school or enrolled with West Chester University on a non-degree basis. It is recommended that transfer applicants for the fall semester complete the application process early in the preceding spring semester. If applying for the spring semester, applicants should complete the application process early in the preceding fall semester. WCU does not have a minimum credit requirement to apply as a transfer student.
