First-year

Applying to West Virginia State University as a first-time freshman is simple and accessible. To be considered, submit your high school transcript. ACT or SAT scores are optional for most programs. Transfer

Transfer to West Virginia State University and continue your education with the support you deserve. We welcome students from two- and four-year colleges and accept applications year-round. To apply, submit transcripts from each college or university you’ve attended. If you’ve earned 30 or more college credits, you won’t need to provide high school transcripts or test scores.
