First-year

Westfield State evaluates first-year applicants based on high school academic performance and strength of course schedule as mandated by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education.  First-year applicants are required to submit a high school transcript through junior year and in some cases, applicants may be required to submit their senior year grades.  Westfield State is test-optional and does not require applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores.

The application fee will be waived for all first-year domestic applicants.  There is a $50 application fee for all International first-year applicants.
