Williams believes in undergraduates. Students, scientists, artists, and scholars come here from around the world and make Williams a cosmopolitan epicenter, a creative incubator, a global stage, and a launch pad for impact that reaches far beyond campus. Williams has one of the most generous financial aid programs in the nation, practicing need-blind admission and meeting 100 percent of the demonstrated need of every student, every year. It's the breadth and depth of students' experiences—intellectual and experiential, theoretical and practical, local and global—that position Williams graduates to thrive and lead in fields as diverse and evolving as they are themselves.

Please also note that students applying as first years or transfers during the 2020-2021 admission cycle have the option of applying under a test-optional policy. This change has been instituted for next year only, in response to the extraordinary challenges facing all of us during the Covid-19 pandemic.
