As a first-year applicant, your high school academic record is the most important factor in Worcester State’s evaluation process. In order to evaluate your academic record, you must submit an official high school transcript through your junior year or senior year. Worcester State is fully test-optional for students of all majors for fall 2024. Student admission eligibility is determined by guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education (MDHE).
Each year, approximately 450 undergraduate transfer students enter Worcester State and become part of the dynamic and supportive campus community. In order to be considered for admission as a Transfer Applicant, you must meet one of the following requirements:
12 to 23 transferable college credits and a minimum 2.5 college GPA
Up to 23 transferable college credits, a minimum 2.0 college GPA, and a combination of high school grades that meet first-year admission standards
24 or more transferable college credits and a minimum 2.0 GPA
