Who are our current members?
The Common Application's current community of members is a broad and diverse group of colleges and universities – public, private, large, small, religious, and secular – ranging in geographic location from across the United States and around the world. Yet, this wide range of schools is united by a shared commitment, a dedication to creating a college-going culture in our global society.
Why become a member?
Your goal is to guide the right students to your campus community, and our goal is to help you achieve this. Each year, more than 850,000 students use The Common Application to submit more than 3.5 million applications. As your partner in the admission process, we do more than strengthen and diversify your applicant pool; we also maintain an efficient solution that ensures a seamless experience for everyone touched by the application. In simpler terms, we manage the tactical side of the admission process so that you don’t have to.
The result? You can deliver a straightforward process to your applicants and a sensible way for your admission officers to capture the application data and information needed to shape your incoming class.
Our online application system features:
Integration with your Student Information System (SIS)
Integration with your Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
Integration with imaging systems
Flexibility to work with your own homegrown system
