First-Year Students
Bluffton offers rolling admission; apply after June 1 of your junior year. The deadline is July 1. Submit an application and official high school transcript. Meet one of these: 3.0+ GPA (no test scores) or 2.3–2.99 GPA with minimum 19 ACT/990 SAT. Test scores may still be needed for some majors, placement or scholarships.
International First-Year Students
Apply online at least 3 months before your semester. Submit official academic records (not copies), two teacher recommendations, proof of financial support and an approved English assessment. You must show completion of secondary school equivalent and provide financial forms with supporting evidence.
Transfer students need at least 12 transferable credit hours and a C average or better in all college-level work. Students with fewer credits may be considered in special cases. Applicants must have no outstanding financial obligations and be in good standing at previous institutions. To apply, submit an application, official transcripts from all colleges attended and a high school transcript. Full credit is usually granted for courses with a C- or better from accredited colleges. Bluffton offers rolling admission but recommends applying at least one term before your intended start date.
You can learn a lot about a college by browsing websites. However, to really get a feel for a place, you need to visit in person. Bluffton University offers group and personal visit opportunities for students to explore campus in their own way. >
