At Chaminade University of Honolulu, you will find a world of possibilities just a few miles from the beaches of Waikiki. Learn about coral reefs by taking a field trip to a nearby beach and seeing one for yourself. Become an entrepreneur and create your own business plan by learning from business leaders from across the Pacific. Major in forensic sciences and collect evidence in our crime scene house, and then analyze it with our state-of-the-art lab equipment. We offer 26 majors and 36 minors, from biochemistry to interior design, all developed to provide you with the technical and experiential expertise to succeed. Our small class sizes and 10:1 student to faculty ratio mean you will get the one-on-one attention you need to thrive. And because of our Marianist heritage, your classes will place a strong value on social justice, community service, and relationship-building, which will in turn empower you to be active change makers in the world.

First-year

Please apply as a first-year (or freshman) applicant if you are currently enrolled in high school, even if you have earned up to 15 college credits, or you earned your high school diploma, GED, or leaving certificate and have not enrolled in college since. Please request for your official high school transcript(s) to be sent to Chaminade University of Honolulu. 

Standardized test scores are optional. We are committed to a holistic review of your application for all programs. 

 

Transfer

Please apply as a transfer applicant if you have earned your high school diploma, GED, or leaving certificate and have since enrolled in a degree-seeking program of any kind, or you left high school early and are attending college. Please request for your official college transcript(s) to be sent to Chaminade University of Honolulu.

In 2020, 97% of our students received some form of financial aid, awards which totaled over $18 million. Students are automatically considered for institutional merit scholarship awards and should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid for additional need-based consideration (FAFSA School Code: 001605). We also offer scholarships specific to religious and ethnic identity as well as athletic scholarships, and are committed to the removal of financial barriers to postsecondary enrollment.
