That's more than 230 years of pioneering in fields like data analytics, international studies, foreign languages, security studies and neuroscience. First-year

First-year students (those who haven’t been enrolled in a degree-seeking program at another college) are invited to apply for entry with either a spring or fall semester start.

If applying for admission for the fall term, students may submit an application through either Early Decision (Nov. 15 or Jan. 15) or Regular Decision (Jan. 15). Students interested in starting at Dickinson in the spring term of this academic year should submit a Regular Decision application by October 7, selecting the spring entry-term option. Our admissions committee reviews each application individually and looks forward to getting to know you!

Dickinson's long-standing test-optional policy has provided students with a choice regarding the submission of standardized test scores since 1994. For the latest on our standardized test policy, see dickinson.edu/testinfo.

Transfer

Transfer students (those who have been enrolled in a degree-seeking program at another college) are invited to apply by Nov. 1 for spring semester admission and by April 1 for fall semester admission. The admissions committee looks forward to getting to know you and learning about your experiences!

Additional Information

A Dickinson education is useful in the ways that matter most. Our students leave Dickinson with an education that translates into a competitive edge and a mandate to lead and make a difference. In fact, 95% of graduates are in a job, internship, grad school or pursuing meaningful service one year after graduation. 92% of those who applied were admitted to medical school and 96% to law school. Dickinson is also a top Fulbright and Peace Corps producer.

Whether you explore it in-person or through our many virtual-visit options, we want to share the warm and welcoming Dickinson community with you and introduce you to our bright, excited students working collaboratively with our amazing faculty. See for yourself!

"One thing that I owe to Dickinson is what I would call a 'leader' mentality–as Dickinsonians, we want to positively influence the world through actively thinking, learning and doing, rather than following what is handed down to us. We are not afraid of change and the unknown but rather cherish it."
