A first-year applicant is a student who is applying to college immediately after earning their high school diploma or equivalency. Your application will be reviewed holistically as we look for students who are a good match for Fordham. Our primary focus is that you will be academically successful and bring personal qualities of integrity, perseverance, and leadership to our campus communities. A transfer applicant is a student who has pursued some college coursework after earning their high school diploma. Your application will be reviewed holistically as we look for students who are a good match for Fordham. Competitive transfer applicants are those who demonstrate academic success in a college curriculum at another institution, with a college GPA of at least 3.0.
