First-year

Students who haven't graduated from high school (or have not attended college since graduating) should apply as First Year students using the Common App. Salem College considers applications on a rolling basis with a regular admission deadline of March 15. SAT or ACT scores are optional, and choosing not to report test scores does not affect merit scholarship eligibility. Some full-tuition scholarships, including the Salem Scholars awards in health leadership, require a separate application.

Transfer

Students who have graduated from high school and enrolled in post-secondary education should apply as a transfer student. Transfer applicants should submit the following: transcript(s) from high school and from all post-secondary schools attended (whether or not credit was earned), School Official Report.
