First-year

Our admission team looks for students who are intellectually curious, show potential for growth and leadership, and who will thrive at Simmons. When you apply to Simmons, you’re automatically reviewed for merit scholarships. We award these scholarships based on academic performance, leadership and involvement, community service, and your college essay. 

Transfer

Each year, more than 50 students transfer to Simmons, attracted by our highly respected academic programs and welcoming community.

A student is considered a transfer student if they have attempted 17 or more college-level credits after earning their high school diploma or equivalent.
Designed for applicants 24 years or older or students pursuing a second bachelor's, the Dorothea Lynde Dix Scholars program provides unique services and support for adult students.
