First-year

Apply as a first-year student if you have not taken any college courses after completion of high school or the equivalent. Our main focus for admission purposes is your GPA. We also consider community involvement, leadership and other holistic variables in the admission process. We accept self-reported ACT and SAT test scores. The GPA of the middle 50% of our incoming class is 3.07-3.83.

Early Action Deadline - December 1st
Housing Contract Opens - December 1st
Priority Application Deadline (Rolling Admission) - March 1st

Transfer

Apply as a transfer student if you have taken any college coursework after high school graduation. If you have fewer than 24 college credits, we may take your high school GPA into consideration. Transfer students are encouraged to apply if they have a 2.0 cumulative GPA and are in good standing at their current or most recently attended institution.

Additional Information

Admission-based scholarships are automatically awarded at time of admission. We also have the University Scholarship application which is UNC's application for additional scholarship opportunities on campus. The priority deadline is February 1st. UNC's FAFSA priority deadline is March 1.
