The NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference is the premier national gathering for professionals, educators, families, and community partners working to advance equity in education through GEAR UP. Attendees gain practical tools, strategies, and inspiration to better support students on their path to college and career success. With dynamic plenary sessions, over 120 concurrent sessions, and meaningful networking opportunities, the conference fosters collaboration and learning across the GEAR UP community and beyond.
GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) is a federally funded initiative designed to increase college readiness and success for low-income students. It provides funding and support to schools and communities to enhance academic preparation, promote college enrollment, and raise awareness about postsecondary education opportunities, thereby helping students stay on track from middle school through college.
