First-year

Student who have not yet graduated high school and those who have earned less than 12 hours of college credit after high school graduation apply as first-year students. The UF admissions process is designed to consider all aspects of an applicant's academic record and personal experiences in order to facilitate individual holistic consideration.The admissions review process tries to balance the subjective and objective components of the application.

The UF Office of Admissions offers official campus tours Monday through Friday (except for state and university holidays) at the Welcome Center. Campus tours for prospective students begin with a 30-minute information session followed by a 90-minute walking tour led by current students. Come see the world like they do – as Gators!
