Hollins University unites excellence in liberal arts education with experiential learning and career preparation. We offer strong academic programs, including 29 majors, 30 minors, and 14 concentrations. Our average class size is 12, and our students come from 38 states and territories, and 22 countries. Offering nine competitive division III sports and riding, Hollins is dedicated to athletic and academic achievement. Experiential learning opportunities include the Batten Leadership Institute, which teaches students how to navigate feedback, conflict, and negotiation, and the Rutherfoord Center for Experiential Learning, which integrates and oversees the university’s nationally-recognized programs in study abroad, internships, research, and career counseling. Three out of four students complete at least one internship during their undergraduate careers.
