Students who haven’t graduated from high school or have not attended college since graduating from high school should apply as a First-year student. First Year applicants should submit the following: school transcript, SAT or ACT report (optional), School Report with counselor recommendation, Common App essay, Meredith essay, and application fee or waiver. International students whose primary language of instruction is not English must submit TOEFL or IELTS. Transcripts must be officially translated into English.

Application Fee: $40
Students who have graduated from high school and enrolled in post-secondary education should apply as a transfer student. Transfer applicants should submit the following: transcript(s) from all post-secondary schools attended whether or not credit was earned, School Official Report, essay, and application fee or waiver.

Outcomes: 95% of graduates would choose Meredith again; 99% of alumnae rated the value of a Meredith college education as excellent, very good, or good.
Academics: Over 90 majors, minors, & concentrations including STEM and health fields, liberal arts fields, Fashion and Interior Design, dual-degree Engineering with nearby North Carolina State University, and pre-professional prep in law, medicine, and dentistry.
Applied Experiences: 97% of students participate in an applied learning experience such as study abroad, undergraduate research, or internships.
Scholarships and Financial Aid: 95% of admitted students are awarded academic merit scholarship at time of admission. No additional application is necessary. Merit-based scholarships:
