First-year

Students applying for first-year admission should submit the Common Application or the St. Lawrence Application. Students must also submit: official high school transcript(s), a counselor letter of recommendation, and two academic teacher letters of recommendation. International students must also submit the International Student Certification of Finances. St. Lawrence is test optional for all students. Students whose native language is not English and are not attending an English-speaking school must submit TOEFL or IELTS scores as proof of English language proficiency.

Transfer

Transfer applicants should submit the Common Application or the St. Lawrence Application. Students must also submit: official high school transcript(s), official college transcript(s), the Academic Evaluation for Transfers, the Transfer College Report, and the Mid-Term Report. International students must submit the International Student Certification of Finances. St. Lawrence is test optional for all students. Students whose native language is not English and who are not attending an English-speaking school must submit either TOEFL or IELTS scores as proof of English language proficiency.  

Additional Information

For first-year applicants: St. Lawrence offers Early Decision, Early Action and Regular Decision. Students can apply for Early Decision between November 1 and February 1. Early Decision applications are reviewed on a continual basis and decision letters are mailed out as quickly as possible. The Early Action application deadline is December 1. Notifications will be sent out in late January. Regular Decision students must apply by the February 1 deadline; notifications are mailed in mid-March. For transfer applicants: The application deadline for our fall entry term is March 1. The application deadline for our spring entry term is November 1. Students typically receive their decision one month after the March and November deadlines. Transfer students who have missed the deadline, but are still interested in applying, should contact our office. St. Lawrence offers both need-based aid and merit scholarships. Our Financial Aid Office is happy to work with families and discuss how St. Lawrence can be a strong financial fit. We offer a number of awards and scholarships for incoming students (https://www.stlawu.edu/admissions/financial-aid-scholarships), some of which require a scholarship application and have an early January deadline.
