First-year

Along with their completed online application, first-year students must submit their high school transcript. The non-binding early action deadline is Nov. 15. Applications are reviewed in order of submission date. Additional materials such as mid-year grades may be requested by email before a final admissions decision is made. All official admissions decisions are communicated by mail.

Transfer

At SUNY Cortland, a transfer student is considered to be anyone who has attended a post-secondary institution for any length of time after high school. Along with their completed online application, transfer students should submit their most recent college transcript, a transcript from every college where credit has been earned and a high school transcript. Additional materials such as mid-semester grades may be requested. Preference is given to students who have completed a higher total of college credits. Visit us

SUNY Cortland offers a variety of visit programs, from daily tours to large Open House events. Weekday tours are offered throughout each semester and on a limited basis during the summer and winter.
