“Having light we pass it on to others” is Wittenberg’s motto, and for more than 177 years, we have helped students do exactly that: discover their light – that unique gift that only they possess – and prepare them to shine it brightly in the world. Our intentional, personalized educational experience is defined by professors, staff, and coaches who challenge and encourage, and by an ecosystem of support that allows for exciting experiential learning and exploration. Our new Connections Curriculum, which literally connects students’ classroom knowledge with practical situations, brings with it exciting hands-on learning options close to campus and far beyond. Combined with our excellence in academics and a coveted Division III athletics tradition, Wittenberg continues to help students lead personal, professional, and civic lives of creativity, service, compassion, and integrity.
